Blandford fly bite?


Can anyone out there identify these bites. All got in Welwyn Garden City Herts. The latest one last Sunday, not the one just gone.

Check out recent posts re Blandford fly. Your bites are unlikely to be from this insect. The massive swelling, etc., will be mostly due to a bacterial infection. Check again with your doctor about antibiotics and antihistamine treatment.

Martin, if you have not been to the docs or A and E, please go as soon as possible.

I have know idea what is the cause, but it needs treatment.

You need antibiotics you look like there is serious infections going on there.
