Yeah, Chris is pretty good but 9 times out of ten a shiny brown one will turn out to be Lithobius Forficatus. If I can`t get it home to get a really good look under a scope: unless I can be certain or their is some obvious feature to the contrary I always go with Forficatus in the secure knowledge that I will be right ninety percent of the time.
