I have this spider in my kitchen and some smaller ones

can anyone tell me which one of the steatoda family it is please

Not 100% sure, but the markings on the abdomen of the 1st photo look like S. nobilis.

Steatoda nobilis for me too

They have a dark shiny body. The abdomen has some pale markings on the top, and there is a creamy coloured band all round the front. Under a hand lens this looks like an intricate mosaic.

If they present a problem for you, all you can really do is to catch them, without handling them (use a cup and piece of card or something similar) and relocate to another area.

But if they like it where they are they could well return.
