Any clues what this insect is ?


Anyone know what this is. It's sub millimetre in scale.

Was this domestic? It looks like a harmless book-louse.

A booklouse (Psocoptera). Harmless and widespread, some species are winged.

Thanks guys. Good to know. Found them in my house and was a bit freaked. Knew someone here would be able to tell me what they were. thanks again.

What damage do they do to books? I think I have heard they eat the glue in older books.
