| | | Lasioglossum morio group? It's amazing to me what's still flying about on sunny days, including this little bee today, which I think must be in the Lasioglossum morio group, and which I'm thinking must be double-brooded, or just has a very long time on the wing? I'd be interested to know, if someone would say, please?
I also had the, or a, Cressocerus sphecid wasp come and check me out again - coming over almost the way the Common Darter males do. But I still can't get a really good shot! |

Good shot of the Crossocerus. I haven't gone through my specimens yet, but if I come across those with both pale mandibles and yellowish fore femora I'll be able to give you a more informed opinion.
You certainly still seem to be having some interesting aculeata where you are! |

| | | Re: Lasioglossum morio group? Thanks Jason! Well shall go looking for what else the bee could be. And interesting what you say about the wasp. I had this very fuzzy headshot today too - which I think emphasises what you spotted and I didn't - for what it's worth!
