can anyone tell me what this is, I did wonder if it was a wasp of some sort ?

Do you still have it? I've lost my copy of Richards... well, mislaid I'll have people know, but I believe a nice view of the underside will help (depending on species grp.). |

It flew againt the kitchen window the sound drew my attention to it. I went to see what made the noise and it was on the floor. |

Found it! The key of course needs stuff that can't be done photographically, but does mention for E. sexcinctus yellow-marked sternites. Still, it could be another - hard to say without a look at it. | | | |
