Chain of Eggs ID

Hi. I found some eggs underneath a stack of railway sleepers. They look like they may be that of a slug or snail only I've not seen any that are linked like these.
Any ideas?

I would agree they look molluscan.

It seems they may be from Limax maximus. There are some more photos of this on WAB.

String of eggs.

Don't have L. maximus in my immediate area to keep an eye out for these egg strings.

@ Estwing...does L. maximus occur where these eggs where found?

I've seen Leopards often but can't say for certain that this site has them. I had a very brief look around this morning but found nothing. I'll try again tomorrow. Could do with some rain
