Any idea which Tingid this is? 18/06/2011 ...brownfield, beaten off Horse Chestnut - seems a little odd!

This is actually in another closely related family, the beet bugs Piesmatidae. There are only a few Piesma species and this one is Piesma maculatum, distinguished by the indented side margins of the pronotum. They feed on chenopods so quite possible on a brownfield site. I've never actually found this species, I always seem to find the other one (P. quadratum) in saltmarshes.
