| | | Crane fly diet Just a thought - have got lots of these flying into the house, much to the delight of the cats! What do the adult craneflies eat? They live for days indoors, and unless I can get them to go out again they die on the windowsills.

| | Re: Crane fly diet That explains it! I've never seen one eating nectar, and there isn't any in the house. Still wondering why they have such long legs - and yet manage to fly around without damaging them. Must be a good year for leatherjackets.
