Assassin Bug? (ID please!)


Hello, new to this forum! We have had 2 of this little guys in our house in as many days. Looking on the web it appears to be assassin bug but I'd like you experts to identify if possible please?!

In retrospect it may be a Western Conifer Seed Bug?!

It's the Western Conifer Seedbug, Leptoglossus occidentalis. It's got those distinctive inflated hind tibiae and a white W mark on each wing. It's a type of squashbug and it's a fairly new arrival to the UK from America via imported timber.
