colletes hederae I think

Is this colletes hederae please? It was by the coast - just east of Hill's Head (Monks Hill beach if Dillybythe sea sees this). I do not know what the shrub is - hence the third picture. Not typical ivy anyway.

There were lots of these bees as well as wasps and hoverflies. A wonderful sight. Many thanks

Certainly C. hederae. The shrub is also Ivy. Could you pm me the details so that I can map this (Grid Ref/Google Earth Point/Postcode)?

Only just came across this catbee! Aren't we lucky to have so many locally. And they'll still be active on the ivy above Monks Hill beach, no doubt? We still have hundreds busy on the cliffs and ivy here! ATB!
