| | | Damselfly Willow Emerald with extention? Spotted this damselfly but was amazed when I spotted what appeared to be an extention coming from the claspers
.
The extention could be moved up, down or straight out.
My wife and I have never seen anything like it before with damselflies so can anyone offer an explanation please

Similar to what goes up must come down so you say what goes in might come out but the upward direction confused me byt then damselfies may be like that - upwardly mobile!!
