| | What is this bug? I don't currently have a picture but I will try to get one. The insect in question is brown and it looks to be almost the same shape as a bedbug. However, they are smaller and their backs don't look segmented like the pictures I have seen. They don't fly and they are usually found under the pillows on the bed, on the curtains or in the bathroom. Sometimes they are found on the wood floor. I can't find anything at all like them online. They sometimes don't appear for weeks at a time and they don't seem to bite. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you have an attic or a loft hatch in your upstairs ceiling? In your bedroom?
Whereabouts in the country are you? |

I do have an attic but have never been in it or had it open. It is in the hallway. I'm in Co. Antrim in Northern Ireland.

| | | Re: What is this bug? No they are that type of shape but are darker brown and their bodies are smooth, sometimes you can see a line up the middle of their backs. |

| | | Re: What is this bug? OK, Emma, I have exhausted one line of thought.
If you could post a photo on here, I'm sure someone could recognise it in a flash. Are there any lurking in a corner now? |
