Beetle ID, please

This was snuggled quite happily on the ceiling in my living room and then landed on the glass door. I quite like the 'thunder thighs'.

Any ideas, please?

Great find - the pretty uncommon, Notable-B species Oncomera femorata. One for your local Record Centre.

Oh wow! Lovely! Thanks. Not actually sure who exactly to contact with it. There's a records place in Winch that might register it. Was found in Hampshire... yesterday.

Contact the... I think it might be Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, and tell them where you found it with a view to getting the name/organisation of the relevant Recording Scheme. Ideally both the general Recording Centre and you county beetle recorder.
