mystery burrower
Hi Wabbers,
Just noticed this hole/burrow thats been excavated in amongst some vinca, clover and birds foot trefoil in our wildlife garden.
Who ever has made it has moved quite a lot of bark chippings and a quantity of friable, sandy soil to make an entrance hole[about the size of a 20p piece] also forming a cone shaped dip around the hole.
I suppose it might be a beetle, wasp or bee!
Any ideas?
