| | | Can anyone confirm Volucella pellucens ? I saw this in Salhouse Broads, Norfolk last week, just a few yards from a marshy ride and was on a huge Ivy bush which was literally buzzing with insect life.
The way that the two main veins join before the wing tip lead me to ID this as Volucella pellucens, Am I correct or way off the mark?
Any help would be appreciated, regards Nick |
