| | | Unidentified French Grasshoppers Can anyone identify these two beauties, please? They were photographed in a meadow at an altitude of about 1000 metres in Chartreuse (the French pre-Alps).

Smart insects aren't they? They belong to a family known as spine-breasted grasshoppers (Catantopidae) |
