| | | Any website that tells me what's active this month? Hello,
I'm a photography nut and I've recently started getting into 1-5x macro work on insects. ie the type of shots that you can make out the individual bits of compound lenses - ie this example from my flickr Just catching some rays. ok?! | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
Being a working man (and daddy!) the time that I have available to do this is unbelievably limited though. So I was hoping for a website or book that would give me some sort of guide as to what's flying around during any month, where I should go and look for it and what time is best. Ie to make the most of the little time I have . Fwiw, I'm in Surrey.
Any help appreciated! What would you suggest?
Many thanks |

| | | Re: Any website that tells me what's active this month? No, there isn't a website that gives that. I think there's a couple that go into active moths, and others that say the months various other invertebrates are active between - but not one that does everything I'm afraid.
I suggest you either just go for whatever you see, or ask us for tips on specific insects/groups. |
