| | | Britain's hoverflies - book Just a quick line to advise that we are progressing but it is slow. Unfortunately, we took on too much this year! At least we now have the atlas out and are close to completing the national review.
We are finalising the text with the publishers and are close to the project going to the designers. This means that the book will probably appear in March 2012. We are very aware that this is a significant delay but hope that the end product will be worth it.
On a practical note, we have stopped taking advanced bookings. This is partly because of the delays, and partly because the RRP is now looking as though it will be £24.95 - I'm afraid the pressures of certain on-line booksellers means that the publishers have to raise the RRP in order to cover their costs. We will honour all those orders placed to date, but will not take more orders until we can determine how much of a discount we can get at the new price. |

| | | Re: Britain's hoverflies - book It's a sad fact of life that those who take advantage of cheap book sales (I include myself ) are depriving real booksellers and publishers of essential profit. Is there any way to stop it?
Anyway, whatever the price, I'm sure this book will be worth buying! Quote:
