help identifying please


Hi guys, found this strange, squareish shaped insect climbing up a blade of grass, and can't find it anywhere on the net. Will be grateful for any help at all, thanks in advance, Normski

Looks like a beetle: one candidate is Micropeplus spp. (Micropeplidae, or sub-family of rove beetles). There are 4 British species.
