Very good. Think I will get my head around the families a bit better. Bedtime reading for me.
Not over-done with photos but good clear images. I'll give it 9/10.

Got mine this week, great as a full-coverage systematic classification authoritative text.

Very many great photos, but these seem to be 'what was available' & only cover a tiny proportion of the number of species.

Allowed me to find sections for half-remembered invert's I've seen in the past I couldn't previously place.

Finding it a bit frustrating when I wanted to dig deeper,
each family can only get so much space in the book,
so you'd then need to get a specific book to further ID anything other than
those species that happen to be covered by the photos.

Overall it's great for me as a 're-starter', & I guess for serious classification enthusiasts,
which I guess says something about it's potential broad appeal.

It's mainly about 'the scientific system', not really a 'chatty' book,
& for me too much space devoted to article/book reference lists.

But I'm getting lots of background info I had no inkling about,
overall a very good experience, that'll likely cost me as I buy more specific books.
