ive found a weird insect and im not to sure what it is?

Well ive just found this really weird thing, at first i thought it was a spider but then i realised it only had 6 legs and one part of the body, and i thought spiders always had two? ive looked on the internet to try and find out what it was but i cant find anything, it had the two pincers at the front of its head and the colouring of the legs where like a brown/black dotty. the legs look spidery but the body was almost completly round, also the two middle legs where really long compared to the front legs which where tiny. i was just wondering if anyone knows what this is??

Does sound like a Harvestman. Very common at this time of year as the name suggests.

no it doesnt look like that at all, the legs where thick compared to how small it was,it was about the size of my pinky nail, but compared to how small it was, it was really think:L but im not actually to sure if it is a spider?

Just a thought, but have a look at Dicranopalpus ramosus. A strange looking member of the harvestman family.

With no picture or scale it is awkward, I even wondered if it was a damaged insect (Harvestmen are insects not spiders)

Sounds like Dicranopalpus ramosus but they have 8 legs, maybe it was missing a couple?
