Bombus rupestris female ?? with grey eyes
Not a pretty thing, and I think a female Bombus rupestris? I haven't read anything about grey eyes and wonder if it's normal, or the bee has a problem? Although she seemed a bit clambery on the rudbeckia, I always think cuckoo bees are, aren't they - and she flew straight to flowers OK. What does anyone think, please?

Certainly a B.rupestris queen. I'm not sure if the greyish eyes indicate any problem though.
