Black and cream bugs - i.d. help please
I saw several of these in our garden (nr. Brighton) today. Part of me thinks they might be harlequin ladybirds, but they're unlike any I've seen before. There were at least half a dozen of them. Any help appreciated.

Not Harlequins which are beetles- these are true bugs; one of the shieldbugs, called Brassica Bugs, Eurydema oleracea, which feed on various crucifers including Brassicas, Horse Radish,etc.

to add to aeshena's id, the lower one is an adult and the other a final instar nymph.
