| | | Odd ants So these ants have been around at this location for most of this summer, and had been marching in an awesome ant motorway the last couple of times I saw them without a camera. These shots were taken with my phone, sadly.
I'm no expert on ants, but I've had my nose in the dirt most of my life and I've never seen anything like these in the UK before.

| | | Re: Odd ants I should add that these ants were maybe as much as 50% bigger than the run of the mill common English ants, and had a much chunkier look to them. They weren't quite so sprinty either, much more steady and methodical. |

I've not looked at ants for sometime now so a little rusty with these. Plus you will need to get a good close view at most of these...
