Two strange interlopers on flowerhead
Going through a zillion or two shots of Volucella inanis on the Devil's-bit scabious I now notice there are two more creatures on the same flower and wonder what they are?! Just roughly would be great - I know they're perhaps a bit small to say for sure.

One is a lacewing larva.

The fly is a small Conopid - genus Thecophora. These ones attack solitary bees like Lasioglossum.
