| | | How high or far can a grasshopper hop? Last weekend, I was sitting in the window seat of the National Trust property I volunteer at. I heard a noise outside the window and noticed a grasshopper on the windowsill. I was on the first floor, some ten feet from the lawn and there are no climbing plants near the window.
So how did our jumping friend get there?
Anyone know how high or far they can jump? |
