good morning!
well i got up early and saw something big and black on my lawn dragging a slug!
the beetle was nearly 2 inches long and black with neon pink stripe going all around it with 2 pink spots on head ,, i have pictures but unable to download .. it also had tinges of metalic purple near legs!!
i have taken 5 pics of it ..
it was aggressive when i tried to touch it and dragged this slug riht accross the lawn!!
would love to know what it is ...i will try to get some picture on here !  |

Hi michix,
Welcome to the forum 
It would be great to see the pics, it sounds very interesting!
To upload click on 'Library Images' on the left when doing a new post and upload to the Image Library (not Gallery). Follow the steps there. (Also make sure the photos meet the size requirements)
In the meantime have a look at Stag Beetle or Lesser Stag Beetle and see if they match I'm no expert but I might have a chance with photos

Best to post it on this thread via the library - resize it to something like 1200 x 800.

Install it, open up your photo and they'll be an option in one of the menus to 'Resize'. Set the resolution to 800 x 600, save it, then you should be able to upload it here (to the Image Library).
