Question Hoverfly - Eristalis intricarius poss ?
Hi,
is there enough in this pic to ID this, I think possibly Eristalis intricarius?
Sorry, it went before I could do better.

Hi

E. intricarius is a far more 'furry' species, with a bright scutellum. This looks like E. tenax, with the lines of hairs down the eye.

This is Eristalis tenax female, it has two rows of hairs on the eyes where others have one.
