Dragonflies for ID please
Hi - trying to improve my severely limited knowledge of the insect world.
I snapped a couple of dragonflies yesterday (having checked, I'm at least certain they're dragonflies). The first one, I think, is a Common Darter, can anyone confirm?



The second has me completely stumped - can't find anything to match



There were also some gorgeous big blue ones around all day - far too fast for me to catch an image!

Agree with Common Darter for top; the other is a female Black Darter.
