| | | Unidentified Wasp?
Found on the Isle of Lewis, the body of this "wasp" is 25mm long, the antenna are 20mm long
We are assuming it is a wasp of some kind, but its not in any of our reference books, any ideas |

I only said wasp because I know its a huge group and it sort of looked "waspy" to a rank amateur like myself |

| | | Re: Unidentified Wasp? Male too - no ovipositor, and different colour arrangements to the more often-posted female (which despite similar-sizing is probably more often posted here given the said egg-laying implement appearing more like a stinger).
