| | | please help ID this monster beetle Wilst having a european wasps nest removed, this huge insect appeared from the branches near the nest.
Any help in identifying would be appreciated.

The exterminator did say he thought he had caught it with the spray.
On the plus side, I can now add these much more informative pics.
We have just received a call from a local government department.
The exterminator (wrongly imo) identified the beetle as a Citrus Longhorn, so someone is coming to collect the beetle, as an infestation of Citrus Longhorns could be a problem....
