Still struggling with these, but was thinking Melanostoma scalare. Could someone confirm or correct?

You need to see the dust spots on the frons Rob, M. scalare has well developed triangular dust spots where M. mellinum can have pale ones or not much at all with a shiny black face.

Thanks for your help Janet. I've had another look at the specimen and could definitely see well-developed triangular dust spots, suggesting M. scalare.
