| | | Re: 22-spot and larva? Despite having seen and photographed several adults I've yet to come across a larva. Very distinctive aren't they - would love to find one. What type of plant was it Hedera?

Bruce  | Bruce check out any herbaceous plant with a covering of mildew as that's what these beasts feed on. I've often found them on Burdock amongst other plants. |

| | | Re: 22-spot and larva? It was Evening primrose-I have them growing on my patio. I have noticed some mildew on the lower leaves. Never seen a 22-spot before in my life!
