More insects for ID

[Dannica]

A particularly hairy black fly, found in the fields, in long grass.


Also found in the fields whilst sweep netting; this one has such stunning pale bands for 'tail' markings.


These were found on my compost heap. They were together, their tails wiggled a lot, and they were very, very aggressive.




I'm having such a good time sweep netting, and finding amazingly beautiful and fascinating things.

Have you got any other shots of the first?Maybe a frontal one.

The second is an Ichneumon suspicious type thing ,there could be look-a likes.

The third is Staphylinidae,a Rove beetle of some kind
