Weevil for identification please
Very tiny weevil approx 2mm, lots of them in my house (Northampton) at the moment - doubting the nativity of these although I have limited knowledge on these!

Looks like Sitophilus oryzae, the Rice weevil. Check your storecupboards for rice or any other grain.

There are now two Sitophilus spp. on the British list, the males need to be dissected to check genitalia to determine them.

All mine where zeamais with it's distinctive arrow-like aedegus (bag of good-quality, branded bird-seed soon binned!).
