| | | Energetic bug in my long grass. Is an ID possible? The following pics where taken through polycarbonate. Sorry about the fuzziness. I didn't have the heart to subdue it and remove it from the container. It was such a lively little thing.
Looks like some sort of bug.
Any help with ID gratefully received.

I had one like that last year, family Miridae - Stenodema calcarata but it might not be possible to separate it from S. trispinosa unless you can see if it has two or three spurs on the hind femora . They are located near the 'knee' on the under side, yours doesn't appear to have those or they aren't visible.
It could be Notostira elongata or Stenodema laevigata, check out the options and you will see how similar they are!
