| | | Wasps at my window Hi all
I was im my kitchen making a drink and turned and noticed 4-5 wasps crawling up and down my window and flying into it like a moth would. Its 05:00am so i would assume they are wanting to fly toward the light . as I've never ever seen wasps at my kitchen window nor have i seen them so early in the morning i found it strange all tho pretty cool as well what was a bit stranger the were secreting a yellow tinted liquid with white and brown objects (looked like poop) in it . not only was that strange but they all seemed to do it a few times .
i did video for about 5 min and il post it on here once its uploaded.
But i missed alot of this stuff happening getting the camera and then when i turned it off is when a few more came and pooped all over my window

| | | Re: Wasps at my window I have never heard of this type of wasp behavior Rosco, it sounds very strange. I am interested to hear what the expert say about it.

| | | Re: Wasps at my window I once saw something very similar to this, many years ago, while staying in a house on the edge of the New Forest. The theory I came up with was that a nearby nest had been raided by badgers; and the disturbed, and very angry, wasps were attracted to the nearest light source.
Are there badgers in your area?
