| |  What is this beetle? Insect?
Hi all, new to this site- I m living in Northern Ireland and woke up finding this under the cushion (pic attached)  
Wrecking my head, it was twitching a little bit and was mostly dead, i let the little thing rest outside then it was gone- what is it!!??
EDIT: JUST DONE SOME DIGGING AROUND ONLINE AND THINK IT MAY BE THE 'FOREST BUG' THOUGH THIS HAD GOLD ON IT http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forest_bug
CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM PLEASE?

Looks like Pentatoma rufipes (forest bug), a lot of people are seeing these at the moment.

I think it may need to go through the moderators, not sure as I don't really post in the Gallery or libraries. There will be plenty of pictures of this species in there anyhow.
