Queen in love triangle shock!
Any ideas for the type of bees involved in this positively disgusting behavior that took place on our patio the other week (At least I think thats what they were up to - I've lived a very sheltered life)







She looks like she's enjoying herself in this one

Looks to me like 2 male B.lapidarius have made a bit of a mistake and are attempting to mate with a B.terrestris. Interesting.

They were all "tangled up" (diplomatic head on) but in some of the pics she seemed to have a reddish coloured bottom (stop sniggering at the back - I can hear you saying "I'm not surprised")
