| | | Emerald id please A couple of years ago I had a vagrant Scarce Emerald damselfly on my pond. Since I don't normally get any Emeralds but have one today I just want to be sure I have identified it correctly. It looks to me like the Emerald male, not the Scarce one. Is that right?
Many thanks |

S2 is all blue on yours which suggests an Emerald rather than a Scarce Emerald.

I thought that was probably the key.
Shame not to get another Scarce Emerald but nice to see a species that hasn't been here before. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
