| | | A few Flies for Id please Taken over this week in my garden, Northamptonshire. I am pretty weak on these, a good opportunity to show my new macro shots and get some basic fly id under my belt.
A flesh fly?
Chrysis wasp?
Lucilia?
Muscid?

| | | Re: A few Flies for Id please Afternoon John,
The second is some kind of Ichneumonid/Braconid wasp. Chrysidids are brighter-coloured and less elongate and with shorter antennae.
Take care, Jason |
