Taken over this week in my garden, Northamptonshire. I am pretty weak on these, a good opportunity to show my new macro shots and get some basic fly id under my belt.
A flesh fly? 
Chrysis wasp? 
Lucilia? 
Muscid?

Afternoon John,
The second is some kind of Ichneumonid/Braconid wasp. Chrysidids are brighter-coloured and less elongate and with shorter antennae.

Cheers Jason, here is another pic if it helps with anything, I think this maybe another individual i'm sure 2 were flying about near this melilot plant.
