| | | Damselfly ID Help Please. Hello all this is my first post apart from saying Hello, anyway I have just come back from a morning walk along one of my favourite rivers and come across a huge group of damsel flys going about their bussines, now normally I would have a quick look and move on but this morning I spent ages watching them flit from plant to plant...and it was a truly wonderfull sight..
What I need to know is can anyone give me the name of the damselfly, I have looked on several sights but wasn't sure which one was which..I didn't know there were so many different types..I think I will go back with the macro lens next time..
Thanks for looking, Steve. |

| | | Re: Damselfly ID Help Please. Demoiselles are good value because they are a decent size and fly relatively slowly. Particularly good to watch when the males are putting on their (slow) display flight over water. |
