| | | Mirid ID : Leptopterna ferrugata? Hello,
I have uploaded some images ofa mirid bug found at Thongsleigh Woods in Mid Devon last week. They were on a grass seed head. I believe these might be Leptopterna ferrugata. Is anyone here able to comment on them please?
Regards,
Andrew. |

Do you use the British Bugs site? WWW British Bugs . org . UK
I don't appear to be able to directly link to the site. But there is a bit of information available there if you scroll down the Miridae section.

Yes, I do use British Bugs and used that to derive this conclusion but I was wary of basing my identification on online images whilst unaware of confusion species. http://www.xexexexexexexexexexexe.org.uk/
With the passing of time and more research I am quite confident these are L. ferrugata now.
Regards,
Andrew.
PS : Odd, I can't paste the link either. |
