Wing-waving fly for ID
Several of these flies were at the edge of a pond in mid-Lincs today. The ones with white wing tips were waving their wings at ones without white wing tips. I'm assuming the former are male. Can anyone help with an ID?

A good shot of a male. They are very entertaining to watch as well, aren't they? And they can also walk on water...

Yes, I spent quite a while watching them. If I see them when the light is better I'll try to capture the wing movement (couldn't get a high enough shutter speed today without having to use too high an iso).
