That was my impression too except that I read that they always rested with their wings at 45 deg rather than straight as in the picture

It's an immature male Emerald Damselfly (you can see the appendages if you zoom the pic). They don't always rest with the wings at 45deg - and other species of damselfly sometimes do - just to make life difficult for us | | |
