| | Sphecodes or Lasioglossum sp? Wondered if anyone could confirm whether this is more likely to be a Lasioglossum or Sphecodes sp (I've had both in previous years)? I'm leaning towards Sphecodes sp... Seen feeding on Ragwort in my garden today. Approx 10-12mm long.

| | | Re: Sphecodes or Lasioglossum sp? Evening Jane, Lasioglossum - sort of in the calceatum area. Sphecodes have rounder abdomens without the red interspersed by black dorsally. They shine more, too.
