Arrow Sphecodes or Lasioglossum sp?
Wondered if anyone could confirm whether this is more likely to be a Lasioglossum or Sphecodes sp (I've had both in previous years)? I'm leaning towards Sphecodes sp... Seen feeding on Ragwort in my garden today. Approx 10-12mm long.

Evening Jane,

Lasioglossum - sort of in the calceatum area. Sphecodes have rounder abdomens without the red interspersed by black dorsally. They shine more, too.

These long, skinny jobs are males for sure. Male Sphecodes have antennae that look like a string of beads
