I have not seen one of these before....
Any ideas please?

Found in south Notts at the weekend.

Body approx 15mm long and it flew off like a micro moth.

A caddis fly -Mystacides nigra is the closest I can find.

Unsure if there are any similar looking species and if there are they are probably microscope and dissection jobs. The only one with this black colouration I can find, but I am no expert on these.
