Bug - similar to capsodes gothicus?
S. Devon yesterday. A mostly blackthorn lined path across farmland.



My first thoughts were Capsodes gothicus but it doesn't quite fit, particularly the leg colours and so far I haven't been able to find a perfect match.

Suggestions appreciated.

That looks better. Thanks.

I did skim through the British Bugs site but missed it.

Probably, I just noticed the brownish versions. After flicking through numerous bugs my eyes tend to get a bit 'glazed' unless what I am searching for is obviously in the top left thumbnail.
