It's a froghopper but what species, I have no idea.

I am wondering about Aphrophora alni the Alder Spittle-bug? But I am not an expert.

I think I see the keel running down the midline of the head and pronotum, and the white patches near the margin of the wings.

it is a hopper adult Issus coleoptratus
take a look at Auchenorrhyncha (Homoptera)

found on woody plants and trees the nymphs are really cute with a long candy floss plume from the the rear a sugary extract they produce from feeding on leaves the can be easily found in early spring feeding on Holly though the adults are far more elusive and are found June to November
